General Election
A General Election is the election in which federal and state officers, members of Congress and of the general assembly, county and township officers, and other officers appear on the ballot. General Elections are held the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November of each even-numbered year.
Important Dates
- Tuesday, August 27, 2024 - First day to submit Absentee Ballot requests
- Wednesday, October 16, 2024 - First Day to Mail Absentee Ballots to Voters and First Day to Vote In-Person at the County Auditor's Office
- Monday, October 21, 2024 - Voter Pre-Registration Deadline, Last Day to Request an Absentee Ballot by Mail, County Auditor's Office Open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, November 4, 2024 - 5:00 p.m. - In-Person Absentee Voting Ends
- Tuesday, November 4, 2024 - General Election Day
